Great facility. I went specifically to look at the latest exhibition in Gallery M which is an excellent space with monthly changing displays. There's also a superb gift shop selling exquisite handmade items. Also features a cafe, library and performance space which are all well utilised.

Lovely theatre for intimate performances. Also great cafe with very good coffee and a small but very good range of eats. Then there is the shop attached which has so many retail items - a delight!

The the theatre at the Marion Cultural Centre looks really beautiful and is a lovely comfortable venue. The general staff and volunteers that run the cafe and the administration simply could not have been more helpful. If I had a complaint (and I may be a minority of one here), it's the sound engineering. I saw the same show several weeks ago at the Arkaba hotel (as part of the Fringe) and then again last weekend at the Marion Centre. The sound quality and mix (I'm a huge music fan) at the Arkaba was close to perfection - so I know the performer wasn't the issue here. The sound engineering at the Marion was really quite poor - it was muddy, unclear and at times, a little painful.I could see several patrons (who may have been connected to producing the show I'm not sure) running up and down to speak to the sound engineer who appeared disinterested to say the least (I'm putting that as kindly as I can). From my vantage point I could see he spent most of the time scrolling on his telephone. It seems everybody was hell-bent on producing the best possible show - with the disappointing exception of this chap behind the mixing desk. While he's running that desk I really cannot recommend anyone attend a live show at the Marion Cultural Centre; which is a terrible shame.

Includes theatre (good events program), meeting rooms, library and cafe (with meals for seniors/ senior card discounts). There is also an art gallery with visiting exhibitions and a small 'store' displaying crafts made by locals. These include paintings, jewellry etc. All of this in indoors, under one roof. Split level. Many steps to get from library to cafe and theatre part of the cultural centre. However there are ramps. Worth visiting.
