Absolutely love MMDC! Whether it's performing or watching the multitude of show variety and director's makes this place a home away from home. Big recommendations :)

Melbourne Actors Lab
There is nowhere, nothing and no-one that can equal, never mind better, Melbourne Actors Lab/Peter Kalos! For anyone wanting to learn or hone their craft, this is the place to be. Peter is amazing - his knowledge and experience, his energy, passion, intensity and communication ... for an actor, this is who you need to be working with.

Such a great Children's Musical Theatre Performance Academy - all children get a chance to shine. CASD has really helped my daughter build her confidence on stage. The end of year shows are amazing!!

Drama Stars Academy
The two capabilities that will carry my kids through into any occupation they choose- confidence and being comfortable speaking in front of crowds, are just two of the many skills my kids get from Drama Stars. From the first term teachers noticed an improvement, and now, whether it be as the troll in three billy goats gruff, as the captain of a sports team, or simply presenting their work in the classroom, both of my kids are developing beautiful oral communication skills that they can draw on every day!

John Curtin College of the Arts
Great school overall, some bad teachers some good, boy’s toilets suck but the D&T rooms are INCREDIBLE, Jeremy the chaplain is the FREAKIN BEST. LGBTQ community is really supportive. Would suggest going if you’re thinking about it

Plie, Groove'n'Shuffle
I have been a part of the Plié family for over 10 years now. It is a nurturing and enriching environment to start and further your dance career. The teachers are all highly trained and accredited, the owner Miss Vicki has over 20 years of professional experience and a wealth of knowledge to share with her students. The facilities are incredible with 7 studios at the Cromer campus and the training the kids receive is second to none. I am particularly fond of the competitive cheerleading program Plié offers, they are currently the only dance school on the Northern Beaches to offer this sport and can accomodate students participating in both high levels of dance and cheerleading. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful dance school!

Peacock Theatre
Smallish, but intimate theatre with good view of the stage and clear vocals. Seating is okay.

Rochdale Theatre
Always love going to the Rochdale to see Lismore Theatre Co productions. Neighbourhood Watch was a very absorbing play about a Hungarian migrant and a young woman who live opposite each other. In addition there were four young students from Lismore High plus their drama teacher and director entertaining us with Hungarian folk dancing and singing. Next production Running Up A Dress begins September 10th. Don't miss it.
