As past student, I can recommended it with my eyes close. The experience that I did have and what they did for me as a company was beyond service.As student from overseas I was alone and full of expectations, that is why I need somebody to rely on, Global experience didn't take me just as client they deeply care about me. I can't be more grateful to them and thanks to them I have a new life in Australia, my own family and friends. Thanks GE I will never forget what you did for me.If you have any issue not just as student, even personal, they are there for you. I encourage you to pay them a visit to their office (after pandemia has gone off-course) and you will see what I am talking about.

Stayed with Easy Living for almost 2 years, including the period of lockdown, and I have only good things to say about them! They really looked after us during the hard period, everything that I needed in my room they provided and they keep close contact with us, especially if some problem happens it’s all solved quickly.A special thanks for Marcela and Carmel, that always provide the best costumer service you can think of.If you’re thinking about moving in one of the properties, don’t think twice, go!

Great place for a camp or retreat. Fully catered kitchen that practised great sanitising stations for CoVid. Clean rooms with full air conditioning

Iglu Summer Hill is the best accommodation experience that I’ve had so far! Everything is neat and clean, all common areas are new and well planned for the best experience for all tenants.Highly recommended, do not hesitate to make an inspection and see through your own eyes all this incredible student accommodation.

The place is nice and quiet, ideal for studying. It also has quite good accessibility to quite a wide variety of shops nearby.The pool is more suitable for pool parties than actual swim practice, but that does not bother me too much. 200 GB a month is actually a rather fair allocation, considering that I actually needed to be downloading a lot to even go over that allocation.As for room cleanliness, it is really down to how clean the tenants keep it, as the public areas are professionally cleaned, but personal areas such as kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms are only as clean as the tenant keeps it.

Staff asked what time we’d be arriving at the property and we informed them with plenty of notice the time which was well within reception hours. The staff member was not there and we had to wait for them to return.Very dirty. Our shared bathroom was cleaned once in our 6 night stay. It was quite frankly filthy. The shower was also tiny and not much room to wash.The room was advertised as a double or twin room and we requested a double 4 months before arrival at the point of booking. The day before our arrival we were told they do not have any double rooms on site - not sure why this was advertised.The bedroom was very hot - no aircon and we were provided a fan that was absolutely useless. The pillows were depleted and lumpy. We actually dreaded coming back to the accommodation each night and stayed out for as long as we could.This is student accommodation so filled with young people who are noisy in the evenings and inconsiderate when cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen. Having said this, there was no anti-bacterial spray available to clean up after yourself which added to the issue.There is also a kindergarten situated right next door which was noisy every morning.The students also had a bad sense of personal hygiene and in all communal areas there was a foul smell of body odour which was not pleasant.You are provided with one knife, fork, spoon, plate and bowl per person and a small locker/space in the fridge for the duration of your stay.The wifi was terrible. Very slow when working but intermittent most of the time. I find it hard to believe students manage to do their work using this.This place has also not paid our 100AUD deposit back and it’s been 3 weeks of chasing!! Receptionists are not getting back to me. Do not trust this place.

Great place, lovely new owner. Quick check in, great cooking facilities. The hostel got new owners who are fixing the place up. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars and everything else. Nice pool, very fast wifi, overall very helpful and friendly, we booked 2 separate rooms and the owner accommodated us into 1 room together which was great!Highly recommended!

Good food but the tap water was muddy.

Stayed here for 7 months. A nice cozy place to stay and make new friends. Perfect for students in RMIT and Melbourne Uni with easy access to uni and close by markets

We recently stayed in a private room at Podbed Coogee and generally our stay was positive. The hostel is in a great location and the staff we interacted with were lovely. Also good communication when we had not had check in details but we contacted the hostel and they sent across precise check in info. Nice garden and generally facilities were good though the kitchen was quite small and missing lots of cutlery so could be frustrating trying to eat meals and not having the things you need. The only other thing to note was the noise level. Most nights this was not an issue but the key codes to the bedrooms doors are quite loud opening and locking and you can hear others going in and out of their rooms (fine in itself but if you're a light sleeper not great). Also our last night there we had a very loud group in the lounge drinking and chatting for a long time around 1am. The hostel puts up many signs saying please be quiet after 10pm, but management did not appear to be around to reinforce this. We had to ask people to be quiet and could hear slamming doors constantly. Again not the hostels fault but I would hope someone is around to enforce house rules if they are in place. Also the beds could be a bit comfier but for the price the hostel was nice and a good base for a few days in Sydney.
