UNSW David Phillips Sport Field
A multi purpose outdoor sports complex that has a canteen and changerooms. Decent caged full field hockey and soccer pitches with seated benches for both teams. The Waratahs centre of excellence is also here but in multiple visits I've never seen them actually train on what it a very good grass rugby field. The lack of visible training effort is probably why they keep losing. With the giant Waratahs sign, they are definately noticeable by their absence. It has several hard court tennis courts, one full size synthetic turf hockey field, synthetiv turf soccer field and multiple grass fields for other football codes, cricket and of course a well kept grass field for the NSW Waratahs. Fields are well supported by flood lights, and players have access to clean and modern change and toilet facilities. The field is also the home for UNSW sports.Importantly, has first aid points with an AED present and also a call for help button.Access wise, vehicle travel is the best, however parking can be challenging at peak times (including during school timings with the local public school close by). Closest Bus routes and Light Rail incur a significant walk.Sporting fields aside, there is a basic menu list cafe, (EFPOS is min $5 purchase) and surround open glass view to the fields. Prices are quite reasonable with a generous serving for things like the bacon and egg roll ($7).

Brookvale Oval
Nice oval.Announcers are almost unintelligibe. When on a PA guys, the reverb around the ground means you need to speak MUCH MORE SLOWLY to be heard clearly. How do you get that job and not know that? Not much pork on the pork bun.
