Caught the barista red-handed, reheating some of the milk from his previous jug for the next coffee… what a cheap shot!!… particularly when you’re paying the Rose Bay premium!!Reheating even a small proportion of previously heated milk, simply butchers what could be a great coffee.Come on guys! Learn to do the simple things well and CUT THE CHEAP SHOTS!

Nice, clean environment, friendly staff. Fast service. lots of variety on the menu. Great deserts.My chicken was a little sad, otherwise would have been 5 stars.Pasta and burgers will great.Highly recommended

It looks like a small cafe from the front but it has a garden and middle section makes it family friendly.Food was delicious and great coffee.

Daily special was delish. Lamb burger with apple slaw. Real food as advertised. Good coffee too.

Have been very happy customers for many years in the restaurant and nursery. My daughter and I have bought everything from soil and furniture to nice wine. Owing to an uncomfortable visit last Friday we won't be back. I nearly laughed when the machine was shoved at me with a list of tipping options.

I ordered Salmon Benedict & Lady Rihanna (which is cold brew), it was amazing and the girl who served was kind. I liked the mood cause it's excellent place to go with your friend, family, or alone:)Highly recommend and thank you for beautiful experience.

I'd like to give 4 stars but the poke bowl let it down. It didn't really fit how a good poke bowl should be put together, seemed more like small amounts of vegies dumped on top of rice with nothing really to bring it all together. There was not a lot of calamari to balance the other ingredients. Having had great poke bowls before, we were a little disappointed. Having said that, the open plate was delicious and certainly enough for 2. Customer service was excellent. I'd go back for sure.

Really disappointed. We came to Rashays Darling Harbour several times, always satisfied and I gave them 5 stars reviews on Google. I don't understand why Rashays Maitland is such the opposite. We ordered double beef asado short ribs which we always have when we went to Darling Harbour, over there you'll get 4 pcs of short ribs but over here you only get 1.5 pcs, NOT EVEN 2. The taste was disappointing as well. My mashed potato was quite runny. Chips wasn't yummy.As the proof, I put 2 photos (different time) from Rashays Darling Harbour and 1 photo from Rashays Maitland (one with salad). I know at Maitland is $20 cheaper than at Darling Harbour but come on, DOUBLE means at least 1 more, NOT A HALF. And if you calculate it, it's actually more expensive. $70 for 4 ribs VS $50 for 1.5 ribs lol. Unfortunately Rashays Darling Harbour is permanently closed, it was one of our favourite place to eat.Definitely not going to come back here again.

Coffee has gone up by an extra 70 cents. Now I pay $5.70. Not impress. I will not be coming back.

Casual dining experience with quality ingredients, a skilled chef and generous portions.We came here and tried the Forkfest set menu experience and were blown away by the quality of the food and generous portion sizes. The dishes may be simple but they are done extremely well. We could not fault a single dish from start to finish and we left absolutely stuffed! Some of our favourites were the Burrata, Apple and Fennel jam, Octopus Romesco, Pickled Onions and Lemon and the Humpty Doo Barramundi.I have never had octopus so soft before, it felt almost fatty! The burrata and fennel jam combo is a classic and the steak and chips were done well as well. Loved the salted caramel pannacotta and tiramisu but we were so full by the end!Highly recommend!
